Something Old and Something New . . .

Make a card with something old and new - if you can manage borrowed and blue as well that would be great! That's Daring Cardmakers challenge this week. Our hostess is  Lythan  and in honor of her sister in law she came up with this fantastic idea for our challenge.

My cards key :

Old    -  lace and silk paper
New  - pearl beads
Borrowed   - idea how to make a paper flower
Blue  -  cotton cord and label

Fresh colours for just married couple :0)

Detail with the little punched heart adhered on the panels. Two halves are joining in  to one - just like a marriage :0)

Paper flower is made of old silk paper. For the flower center I nested pearl beads than I added some gingham  and yellow foam rose.

 Used Material:

Bazzill kraft and smooth cardstock; MME patterned paper; K&Co Die cut Cardstock; Silk paper; Letraset transfer letters; Laces and Gingham (from my stash);  Cotton cord and pearl beads (from local bead shop); Bakers twine (from the Ribbon Reel); Rose (from Hobby and Craft); Heart punch; Distress tool; Thread;
Ink pad
